Horse Jumper of Love is a Boston trio formed in 2013 by Dimitri Giannopoulos, John Margaris and James Doran. Their slow, heavy-lidded songs sit squarely in the slowcore tradition, carrying surreal lyrics half-murmured over chiming guitar. "Disaster Trick" (2024), cut in North Carolina and released on Run for Cover, is their fullest-sounding record yet.
