Grouper

Grouper is the project of Elizabeth Harris, a musician and visual artist from Portland, Oregon, working under the name since 2005. Voices buried in reverb, ghostly guitars and worn tape have made her a landmark of ambient and dream pop, above all on "Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill" (2008) and "Shade" (2021). Her 2026 shows are performed as a live score to a new film by Dicky Bahto.
