Gov't Mule

Gov't Mule started in Athens, Georgia in 1994 as a side project for two Allman Brothers Band members, singer-guitarist Warren Haynes and bassist Allen Woody. What began as a power trio became a cornerstone of the American jam scene, built on heavy Southern blues rock and long, improvisation-driven sets that rarely repeat a setlist. Three decades on, Haynes still leads the band, with Woody's 2000 death marking its most defining loss.
