GlobalFest

GlobalFest is Calgary's multicultural summer festival, staged every August since 2003 by the Calgary Fireworks Festival Society. It pairs the OneWorld Festival, a sprawl of cultural pavilions, international food and live performance, with an international fireworks competition in which teams from countries such as China, Spain and the USA go head to head with displays choreographed to music. The debut edition drew close to 100,000 people; in 2026 the festival moves to Spruce Meadows.
