Geoff Tate

Geoff Tate is an American progressive metal singer, best known as the voice of Queensrÿche from the 1980s until his departure in 2012. His soaring, theatrical range carried Operation: Mindcrime (1988), a concept album now regarded as a landmark of the genre, along with the hit Silent Lucidity, and earned him four Grammy nominations. He is now performing that album in full one last time on the Operation: Mindcrime — The Final Chapter tour, staged with strings and a laser production.
