Led by Garrett Dutton, better known as G. Love, this Philadelphia group invented a loose blend of shuffling blues, hip-hop and soul in the mid-1990s that they dubbed hip-hop blues. Their self-titled debut remains their calling card, and the band is marking its thirtieth anniversary with a tour built around those early songs.
