French 79

French 79 is the electronic project of Simon Henner, a Marseille musician who also founded the band Nasser. Named after the French 75 cocktail, he crafts cinematic, melodic electronica that helped reinvent the French Touch sound. His albums Olympic (2016) and Joshua (2019), driven by tracks like Between the Buttons, have carried him to more than 150 stages around the world.
