French 79 is the solo project of French producer Simon Henner, long based in Marseille. Claimed as an heir to the French touch, he builds a widescreen, melancholy strain of analogue electronic music across the albums Olympic, Joshua and Teenagers. His track Diamond Veins, featuring Sarah Rebecca, went platinum, and his shows are known for their immersive light design.
