Freak Slug is the project of Xenya Genovese, a self-taught musician and visual artist from Manchester. Her dreamy, '90s-shaded alternative pop broke through with the viral single "Radio," followed in November 2024 by the debut album I Blow Out Big Candles. She has since toured North America and played Coachella.
