Emerson, Lake & Palmer

British progressive rock trio founded in London in 1970 by Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer, known for towering keyboard work and albums such as Tarkus and Brain Salad Surgery. After Emerson and Lake both died in 2016, drummer Carl Palmer carries the catalogue live in Welcome Back My Friends, staged with the full cooperation of his bandmates' estates: Palmer and his band play onstage while Emerson and Lake appear on giant screens via restored footage from their 1992 Royal Albert Hall concert.
