Eivør

Eivør Pálsdóttir, known simply as Eivør, is a Faroese singer and composer born in Syðrugøta in 1983. Her voice, moving from a whisper to full-throated Nordic chant, carries songs that fuse Faroese folk, pop and electronics. She sings in Faroese, Icelandic and English, and has written music for television, including the series The Last Kingdom.
