Dweezil Zappa

American guitarist Dweezil Zappa, born in 1969, is Frank Zappa's eldest son. After a career of his own, he devoted much of his work from 2006 onward to performing his father's famously demanding catalogue live, an undertaking that won him a Grammy in 2009. His approach favours reinvention over replication, reshaping familiar songs and reviving rarely played pieces. The DZ20: Like Father, Like Son tour marks twenty years of the project in 2026.
