Donny Benét

Donny Benét, born Benjamin Waples, is an Australian musician based in Sydney who writes, plays and records everything himself at his Donnyland Studios. His earnest dance-pop pulls from R&B, funk and post-disco, built exclusively on vintage synthesizers and drum machines. Debut album Don't Hold Back (2011) made him a cult figure at home, while Mr. Experience (2020) and Infinite Desires (2024) took him onto the ARIA charts.
