Despised Icon

Despised Icon came together in Montreal in 2002 and became one of the defining bands of deathcore, the genre born from welding death metal to hardcore. Their trademark two-vocalist attack, blast beats and crushing breakdowns powered The Healing Process (2005) and The Ills of Modern Man (2007). The band broke up in 2010, reunited in 2014, and has flown the flag for Quebec extreme metal on stages worldwide ever since.
