Dent May

Dent May, born James Dent May Jr. in Jackson, Mississippi, in 1985, works a seam of psychedelic pop, synthpop and indie rock. Animal Collective signed him to their Paw Tracks label for his 2009 debut, The Good Feeling Music of Dent May and His Magnificent Ukulele. After moving to Los Angeles he leaned into sunnier, more baroque pop on Across the Multiverse (2017) and Late Checkout (2020).
