Default is a Canadian rock band formed in Vancouver in 1999 and fronted by singer Dallas Smith. Their debut The Fallout (2001), carried by the single "Wasting My Time", became one of the defining post-grunge records of 2000s Canadian rock and went multi-platinum at home. After a long hiatus during which Smith built a country career, the band is marking 25 years of The Fallout with an anniversary tour and a vinyl and CD reissue.
