Daniel Lanois, born in 1951 in Hull, Quebec, is one of the most influential Canadian musicians and record producers of his generation. A guitarist and pedal steel player, he co-produced landmark U2 albums with Brian Eno, including The Joshua Tree, and helmed acclaimed records for Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel and Emmylou Harris, earning multiple Grammy Awards. Alongside this he pursues an atmospheric solo catalogue.
