Daniel Caesar

Daniel Caesar, born Ashton Simmonds, is an R&B and soul singer-songwriter from Oshawa, Ontario. His breakthrough album Freudian (2017) paired confessional writing with gospel-rooted harmonies from his church upbringing, and in 2019 he won the Grammy for Best R&B Performance for "Best Part" with H.E.R. Later records CASE STUDY 01 and NEVER ENOUGH widened his palette, and he now brings his latest album on the road with the Son of Spergy tour.
