A Connecticut metalcore band that emerged in the early 2010s, Currents is known for pairing crushing heaviness with melodic hooks. The Death We Seek, released on SharpTone in 2023, is widely seen as a career high. Our Fates Lie in Tandem, due in February 2027 on Rise Records, is the group's first full-length in nearly four years and comes with a North American tour.
