A blues-rock guitarist and singer from Regina, Saskatchewan, Colin James has been a fixture of Canadian music since the late 1980s. Stevie Ray Vaughan spotted him as a teenager and took him on tour as an opening act, a break that launched a career spanning some twenty albums and multiple Juno Awards. His Little Big Band records helped revive jump blues and swing north of the border.
