Hailing from Michigan, Citizen blend post-hardcore and shoegaze into guitar-driven rock that swings from hushed ballads to distorted anthems. Fronted by vocalist Mat Kerekes, the band has become a fixture of the emo and alternative scene since their debut album Youth.
