Ceremony

Ceremony formed in Rohnert Park, California, in 2005, starting out in the harshest corners of powerviolence and hardcore. Fronted by Ross Farrar, the band steadily reinvented itself: Rohnert Park (2010) and Zoo (2012) widened the palette before The L-Shaped Man (2015) turned toward brooding, Joy Division-indebted post-punk. That restless evolution has made them one of American punk's most respected and unpredictable acts.
