Burt Block Party

The Burt Block Party turns a downtown Winnipeg street into an open-air concert site each summer, staging bands directly outside the Burton Cummings Theatre between Smith Street and Notre Dame Avenue. Roughly 5,000 people fill the block each night, alongside food vendors and local makers, for a lineup that swings freely from metal to classic rock. The 2026 edition runs August 13 to 16, with single-night tickets and multi-day passes.
