Boy Throb started on TikTok in October 2025 as a Los Angeles boy band with a problem: one of its four members, Darshan Magdum, was in India without a U.S. visa. Anthony Key, Evan Papier and Zachary Sobania kept posting anyway, and a clip of awkward dancing to Hilary Duff in a nursing home went viral. Magdum's visa came through in August 2026, and the four finally performed together for the first time at a New Jersey mall.
