A Montreal duo made up of Amery Sandford (BBQT) and David Carriere (TOPS), Born at Midnite have been writing together since 2018, building dance-pop out of samplers and tape machines somewhere between punk, techno, house and new wave. Released on Arbutus Records, the project leans into deadpan humour and needles our era's self-promotion culture. Their album Eternal BAM Nation set up a North American tour that opened at home in Montreal.
