beabadoobee is the stage name of Beatrice Kristi Laus, a Filipino-British songwriter raised in London. "Coffee", recorded at 17 on a borrowed guitar, spread by word of mouth and got her signed to Dirty Hit. Across Fake It Flowers, Beatopia and the Rick Rubin-produced This Is How Tomorrow Moves, her indie pop has grown from bedroom lo-fi into something built for big rooms.
