Bahamas

Bahamas is the recording name of Afie Jurvanen, a Finnish-Canadian singer-songwriter from Barrie, Ontario. He first made his name as a sideman guitarist — including work with Feist — before launching a solo career in 2009 built on spare folk-rock, warm guitar tone and a dry, understated wit. His seventh studio album, “My Second Last Album”, was released in October 2025 and earned a Juno Award nomination for Adult Alternative Album of the Year in 2026.
