Asake, born Ahmed Ololade, is a Nigerian singer who became one of afrobeats' defining voices. The Lagos artist fuses South African amapiano, Yoruba fuji and massed chant-along hooks, a formula that turned Sungba and the album Mr. Money With The Vibe into continental hits. In 2026 he released M$NEY, his first record on his own Giran Republic imprint with EMPIRE, and took it on the In God We Trust World Tour, reaching Toronto and Montreal in late August with Uncle Waffles as guest.
