Arivu

Arivu, born Arivarasu Kalainesan, is a Tamil rapper, lyricist and composer from Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu. His 2021 single "Enjoy Enjaami", made with singer Dhee, traces the story of his grandmother Valliyamma, a tea-plantation labourer, and went on to pass 500 million views on YouTube. He also wrote film tracks such as "Vaathi Raid" from Master and "Neeye Oli" from Sarpatta Parambarai, and has fronted the ten-piece band Ambassa since 2022.
