Anna Shoemaker is a singer-songwriter from Philadelphia, now based in Brooklyn. She first surfaced on SoundCloud in 2016 with a viral Kendrick Lamar and Chance the Rapper mashup, and has since built a synth-pop sound around unusually plain-spoken writing. Debut album Everything Is Fine (I'm Only on Fire), released on +1 Records in March 2022, works through young adulthood, heartbreak and mental health.
