Born Amninderpal Singh Virk in Nabha, Punjab, Ammy Virk is one of his generation's most successful Punjabi singers, actors and producers. He rose from rural Punjab to become a fixture of both the Punjabi music charts and Punjabi cinema, and now draws more than five million monthly listeners on Spotify. His live shows regularly fill large North American arenas, drawing heavily on the South Asian diaspora.
