Alok Vaid-Menon, who performs as ALOK, is an American performance artist, writer and comedian from College Station, Texas. Their shows braid poetry, stand-up and storytelling into an examination of gender, belonging and joy. They are the author of Femme in Public, Beyond the Gender Binary and Your Wound/My Garden. In the fall of 2026 they appear at the McPherson Playhouse in Victoria and the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver.
