Allison Russell

Montreal-born and Nashville-based, Allison Russell writes Americana shot through with folk, blues and soul, singing in both English and French. After years with Birds of Chicago and the Our Native Daughters collective, her 2021 solo debut "Outside Child" turned her hard-won story into one of the decade's most decorated roots records, earning both Grammy and Juno recognition.
