Agnes Obel

Danish singer, pianist and composer Agnes Obel, born in Copenhagen and based in Berlin, writes hushed, piano-led songs wrapped in strings and layered vocals. She wrote, performed and produced her 2010 debut Philharmonics on her own; it went double platinum in Denmark and won five Danish Music Awards. Her new album The Meaning of Flowers brings her back to North America for her first tour here in over six years.
