AC/DC is a hard rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Lean riffs, a relentless rhythm section and Angus's schoolboy uniform made them instantly recognisable. Released in 1980 after singer Bon Scott's death and Brian Johnson's arrival, "Back in Black" remains one of the best-selling albums ever made. In 2026 the band continues its Power Up stadium tour.
