1tbsp is the indie-house project of Australian producer Maxwell Byrne, better known as Golden Vessel. It grew out of the Sumoclic Nights parties he ran in Brisbane from 2019, where his own edits slowly turned into original tracks. The 2021 debut EP kanashī passed three million streams and pushed the warm, melodic house of tunes like Calico and 2007 well beyond Australia.
