Japanese four-piece Nemophila (vocalist Mayu, guitarist Hazuki, bassist Haraguchi-san, drummer Tamu Murata) plays Lee's Palace, the longtime Bloor Street venue in Toronto. Formed in Tokyo in 2019, the band fuses modern metalcore, growls and clean choruses, neoclassical lead guitar and bursts of J-pop melody. Latest album Apple of My Eye (January 2025) follows 2021 debut Revive.
